I think what we're seeing now is akin to what happened during the oil boom of the early 20th century, where everyone was a prospector putting something in the ground to see if they could strike it rich. That's what people are doing now via the social web. Because you are right. And what's funny is, there are lots of people on FOFC who are like us. Who you know, have been on the web since forever and who've build intense relationships personally and professionally using these tools and yet, there are people out there who swear they have the "magic" that'll make it a better experience for all of us. &lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;It's bullshit really. There's no two ways about it. But folks are just trying to make a living, they're usually old snake oil salesman types or younger and have no real context for how what they're doing isn't really new at all. So they masquerade as experts and try to outsmart the rest of us.
